Import-User-1 Posts: 3609 Rating: (29)	eisa_ara Dear all please be informed that we have some vector inverter in old version ( 6SE3221-5DC40& 6SE3212-1CA40), on our control system which they are discontinueing to product by Siemens. we want to replace them by a new version inverter same as micromaster 420 or 440, meanwhile they have a data communication by two wire. please say any thing which maybe helpful for me to replace them. best regards, Arazkhani nafisnakh Co.

As told above the Micromaster will end in near future too. The 2 wire would be USS communication, that's no problem, all drives have that. Regards, Marcjan

Vithani Platinum Expert Joined: 7/8/2009 Last visit: 6/7/2025 Posts: 1977 Rating: (479)	I replied to same query in another thread Vithani Well, to replace them will be easier task I suggest go for Sinamics And regarding RS 485, you just need to check Bus Addresses of the drives, baud rates, and which datas you need to transmit and receive. You have to match all these exactly with the old drive. Once you get all these datas, simple comissioning should do work for you Regards, Devesh Vithani
