franciscomosse Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Hi everybody! This is my first time working with a Micromaster and I'd like to make a question before and touching anything in the device. Right now, a Micromaster 430 is working with an analog input that drives the revolutions (usually goes around 30 and 40 Hz). I want to add a slighty variation: to set a fixed frequency (15 Hz) that activates when i set a digital input in 1 (right now, no DIN is been used and this signal will come from a LOGO!). If the signal goes back to 0 the f would have to be driven by the analog input again. I know this is doable setting some of de P1XXX parameters, but please'd someone guide me? Vithani Platinum Expert Joined: 7/8/2009 Last visit: 6/7/2025 Posts: 1977 Rating: (479)	Yes, you can do this using Dataset Switch over You have to use P810 for that But before doing this, Copy CDS datas to index 1 P809.0 - 0 P809.1 - 1 P809.2 - 1 Set P701-99 (Enable BICO for DI 1) P810 - 722.0 (Switch to dataset 1 when DI 1 is high) Set P1000.1 - 3 (fixed Frequency) P1000.0 - 2 Analog setpoint P1001- 15 Hz P1016 - 1 P1020- 1 Also have a look at following FAQs MICROMASTER 4, SINAMICS G: Working with different drive data sets DDS / command data sets CDS How do I use different parameter sets with the MM440/MM430? Insted, my idea is te use DIN 2 to select the operating mode. Ex. If DIN1 = 0 -> OFF If DIN1 = 1 and DIN2= 0 -> Analog if DIN1 = 1 and DIN2= 1 -> Fixed Freq The first two are already working. You need to change only new things but if you have backup of parameters, I will suggest to reconfigure all to avoid any misparameterisation And, little correction to parameters you mentioned Set P1000.1 - 3 P1003 - 15 Hz, P1017 - 1, P1021- 1 are also correct but you can use same as I said before P1001- 15 Hz P1016 - 1 P1020- 1 Regards, Devesh
