Help me choose right SSL-ID

SonNH Posts: 50 Rating: (1)	Dear hdhosseini In my Profibus-DP system, i have some subnets link by DP/DP Coupler with S7-300 or S7-400 Profibus master. And, i have some kinds of DP slave as ET200M (IM153-2), Hilscher gateway (Profibus-DP slave/ Modbus RTU master), CP342-5 module - Operation mode Slave (On other station) and of course DP/DP Coupler. So i wanna know when DP slave has failure. I read careful SFC51 usage and "System software for S7 300/400 System and Standard functions /34 - System Status Lists". Then I found 2 SSL-ID for my purpose: 1. SSL-ID W#16#292 when use S7 400 CPU. 2. SSL-ID W#16#294 for general CPU (S7 300/400). Am I correct? Help me choose right SSL-ID. Tks Best regards

jklm Posts: 1742 Rating: (309)	Hello, I often use SZL W#16#0694: Diagnostic status of the expansion units in the central rack / stations of an IO controller system (Status bit = 1: At least one module of the rack/station is disrupted or deactivated) It works for Profibus and Profinet IO as well.
