Erasmus Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello, we have PLC SIMATIC S7-200 with OP7DP HMI device and serial link between. Problem is this HMI is broke and as replace we recieved OP77B HMI. I have no expirience with this system so i was reading manuals and looking for a correct way to make this work with new HMI. Will the new HMI uplaod project/program from PLC or i need to transer it via PC or some other way? Also i found some files with .mwp and .pdb extensions could one of this be project for HMI? thanks in advance

Other thing, HMI application should be made on you PG and transfered to the HMI. You file *.pdb is ProTool project of HMI if I'm not wrong. Now I need more info. What software do you have ? Normally you need WinCC Flexible up to SP2 to convert Protool project and download to HMI. All other things seems to be ok.

Also i was not able to find Wincc aplication we dont have it onboard. Actualy i am an electrician on the ship and this is one of our secundary low priority systems and nobady worked on it.

Then I can't even suggest you something. Well first of all, you need to buy software. Then you need to have old project too. Maybe start from here: OP 77B Operating Instructions (Compact) SIMATIC HMI HMI device OP 73, OP 77A, OP 77B (WinCC flexible)
