Step7 MicroWIN error with Ethernet interface

I selectTCP/IP->EthernetCard inSet PG/PC Interface dialog, I introduce IP address inCommunicationdialogandwhen I press OK Iget following error message: Port could not be opened or is being used by another application. Which port(s) uses Step7 MicroWIN to communicate with CP243-1? System's configuration: Step7Microwin 4.0.9.25 on Win XP SP3. Attachment screenshot 1.JPG (335 Downloads)

When ping-ed, also Rx/Tx is blinking. I assume that there is no hardware problem. It seems to me there is an software problem on my PC, eg one of other applications is using the same port that MicroWIN is trying to use for communicating with CP243-1. My problem is that I don't know which port MicroWIN is usingand I also didn't find nothing related to this in the documentation... Regards, Sorin.

Any other ideea for the cause of the problem? later edit: I've checked on Internet and I saw that among other applications that can use port 102 it is also the services70oiehsx. On my computer - I don't know for which reason - this service wasstopped. After I've restarted the service, the Ethernet communication started to work fine.
