Pedro Ferrer Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hello I'm using Windows 7 32 bits Ultimate I've installled the last package to use MicroWin 4.0. I've installed SP8 and SP9. My RS232 / PPI multi-master cable is the following: 6ES7 901-3CB30-0XA0 Also can't get communication to Simatic Panel TP177A. The connections are ok. Com4, 9.6 kpbs, remote address 2, protocol as PPI, 11 bit mode and nothing... (...) With Belkin cable ref. F5U258 (Easy Transfer Cable for Windows Vista), before on Windows XP Professional (old computer) I've download sucessfully to Simatic Panel TP177B, now on Windows 7... nothing... With PLC the problem remains... meanwhile I've tested with other PC, that also connects with TP177A but not with PLC... It seems that PLC Port 0 it's damaged... I don't have cable to connect with Port 1... Best regards Pedro Ferrer

Port 1 is same cable, did you try all baudrates? Check your pgpc settings. Do you use a real com port on pc or a usb converter? Try to connect to PLC in stop mode to make sure program is not using this port. regards, Marcjan

Pedro Ferrer Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hello Meanwhile I've stopped the tests... I have 2 laptop... both with same OS... Win 7 Ultimate One, everything works fine! The other one, connect with Simatic TP177A with PG/PC interface with 'Multi-Master network' checked and baurate with 19.6 kbps When I try to connect with PLC Siemens Simatic S7-200, I remove the selection 'Multi-Master network' and change baudrate to 9.6 kpbs, but MicroWin don't get connection to PLC. My RS232-PPI cable is configured with 3rd pin up... 19.6 kbps. I know the had some problem to install MicroWin on this PC... I had to remove a key from registry to install correctly... from SP3 til SP8/SP9. Thanks on advance Best regards Pedro Ferrer

A strange thing it's happening because 'Support multiple masters' it seems forced... because I don't have it selected... The converter works fine with NUM CNC, Simatic HMI Siemens TP177A... With MicroWin still don't get it! I really don't know why. I've installed S7-200 Access hoping improve behaviour... but the problem remains...
