program methodology for obtain count value using FM 350-1 with CPU 315-2DP

cvkumar Posts: 1 Rating: (1)	Hi Friends.. i am using IFM encoder for my project. so i have chosen fm-350-1 counter module and cpu 315-2dp. my application is to get continuous count value as the the shaft rotates at rated speed. using various count value i have to stop the motor at several interval.i have downloaded the library functions from forum but its odd to understand to use it for my application.so friends please give some programming methodolgy to obtain count value from counter module. thanks in advance -cvkumar.

Hello cvkumar, Find the DB for FC CNT_CTL1from the Manual - FM 350-1 Counter Function Module Installation and Parameter Assignment Address 34.0 (ACT_CNTV) has the actual count value. Is this what you are looking for??
