Replacement of backup batteries

Ian. Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi, I've been given the task of changing the backup batteries in all the applicable items of plant. One of our furnaces has a S7-400 PLC, with a double width power supply. I have read the sections on "Inserting a backup battery" and "Replacing the backup battery" in the Hardware and Installation manual. In this particular power supply there is only one battery, I realise there should be two. The battery which is currently in is a Lithium type AA 3.6V, (RS 596-602) is this the correct type? If the above battery isn't suitable could you supply me with the correct part number. Best regards, Ian.

The Siemens battery is mentioned in attached part of manual (battery specs too) Don't forget to put back the battery switch after replacing the battery's!
