Hello kelese yes it does and every PROFINET device on a Network must have a unique: - MAC address (unique by factory default) & - Device Name (user configured) & - IP address (user configured or automatically via for example DHCP) Step 7 will take care of this for you as a long as PN Controllers (CPU's) and PN Devices are configured within the same Step 7 project.
