How can i know how T11 is defined?

Mr. Darshan bangali Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello Friends, Here in this image TW is defined as Input and Data type of it is Timer And T11 gives timing value to it.. but in my wholeprogram T11is not declared or defined as TON or TOFF time. Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (265)	T11 is just a memory cell, used for timing purpose - so it's called timer. When you pass T11 inside FC you DON'T pass timeout value, instead you pass what memory cell would be used - i.e. TIMER. I guess inside FC you should have something like L S5T#10s // just for example SP #TW // this command would be converted to SP T11 on executing

T11 timer is used only in FB11. From FB11 we are calling FC5. This T11 timer is used to provide delay in my cycle sequence. I really do not understand this declaration about timer. Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (265)	Your timers are not working by 2 reasons 1) S5T#0MS means no delay 2) TUE and TW outputs will stay always low because A M0.0 AN M0.0 always generates FALSE, so no input to timer.

With the benefit of being able to read the German comments though and having programmed Sequencers in similar ways before, here's my take on things: Parts of your FB11 (including NW3) are only executed for one scan when the Sequencer changes from one Step to another. The Timers in NW 3 are then executed with an RLO of 0 which initialises them so they can now be used as the Step timers again (they are ready to detect a rising edge again). In other words, this "trick" of initialisingof an S5 Timer when a Step change occurs, allowsevery Step in this Sequence to(re)use thesame S5 Timer. I am of course partially speculating here as you only suppliedcode snippetsbut I hope this helps anyhow.
