S7-400FH Critical failure (Caution !!!!!!!!!!!!!)

When I am online with S7-400 FH cpu through industrial ethernet(ISO Protocol),connection was broken . both cpus crash . INTF led light up and all other leds began to flash. after power disconnenction and connection Leds flash again.then i put both cpu's keyswitches to stop . then reset power of both cpus . boths cpu's STOP led begin to flash(like high quality ram test mode) . then problem solved.... can anyone tell me what happened. ?????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Titas Posts: 94 Rating: (15)	Hi Khashayar, Please check the earting point. earth cable is connected properly in the earth pit or not. This incident can happen if there is EMI problem appeared. You also check the profibus cable routine. Is it going parallaly with the 415v 3phase line anywhere in the plant? Please also check the panel earth point. If possible connect the profibus shield in the earth bus. Best of luck Titas

Eduardo75 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi, What do you mean by writing it occurs when you are online with s7-400? Having both CPUs crash at the same time is quite a rare event, but I had it several times. Look at my post at /tf/WW/en/Posts/53652 to check if you get the same error code in the diagnostic buffer. What equipment was connected to the CPUs when the issue occurred? How often did you experience it? I have fixed it after the third time or so. In my case, Titas is right: grounding the profibus shield is always a good practice for a big plant, specifically if the cable layout is parallel (profibus + 3 phase) Eduardo
