qayyum faiz Experienced Member Joined: 7/30/2012 Last visit: 1/16/2025 Posts: 127 Rating: (0)	Hi, i am trying to backtransfer the project from HMI TP177B PN/DP but whenever it try to back transfer from the panel an error pop's up showing the message that could not find PDZ file... i have also tried by checking the check box of the enable back transfer when downloading the project but still the same issue..... actually i want to upload the programm from him to my PC for editing or for backup purposes...

Wizard Diamond Expert Joined: 4/24/2006 Last visit: 1/15/2026 Posts: 9105 Rating: (1204)	Hello, When the .pdz file could not be found, it means it is not possible to back transfer. (Only possible to make a backup using Prosave, this file can not be edited) When you transfer a project to panel, you have the option "enable backtransfer", when you select this option, there will beside the compiled project file a .pdz file transferred to panel. (You will need an external memory card) Mostly only the compiled project is transferred to panel. Best regards, Wizard

qayyum faiz Experienced Member Joined: 7/30/2012 Last visit: 1/16/2025 Posts: 127 Rating: (0)	Sir i have created a new project now an transfered it to the panel and this time i have also checked the option of backtranfer as well please not that there is no memory card in th HMI.... now after transfering the compiled project to the panel i made a blank project and again tried to upload the project from the HMI but again the same error appeared just wanted to confirm that now what is the cause of this error while i even have checked that backtransfer option nowww. is it the memory card that is missing i guess just need your confirmation.....

Hello, It depends on the size of the project. And available memory in panel (It has to contain the compiled project and the total project) That is the reason, you will need an additional memory card.
