MP277 10" Runtime shutting down unexpectedly.

Matster Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi, Programming a MP 277 10" with WinCC Flex. When i transfer the project tothe HMI, I am unable to see the HMI on Profibus via the PLC (CTI 2500 C200) and after approx 30sec. the HMI runtime shutsdown and goes into Transfer: Connecting to Host.... screen on Windows CE 5.0 desktop. This appears to be something in the programming or settings @ WinCC since i can use the same HMI with a different project, connected to the same PLC and have no dramas with communication. I've deleted all logs files etc, and stipped the projected back to just the .HMI file - Recompiled and redownloaded. Still having issues. Any help would be great.

Matster Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Thanks Wizard, But i've solved the issue.. In the device settings somehow the Program ID had been set to 5 on the project i was working on. Since there's no way of identifying the Project ID on a 505/CTI 2500 the Runtime would shut down beacuase it saw a discrepency between the PLC and HMI. Not an easy thing to work out!! Later after a few downloads i had the same issue with the runtime shutting down, This time it was the HMI having issues with the PLC for no apparent reason. Same program, Same PLC different screen communicated fine. Reinstalled the OS to factory default on the MP 277 I was originally working on and all was OK again. Very tempremental at times.
