I can not communicate over profibus with gauge diameter

ID of gauge is 14 (hex=E) and iinstalled GSD file. I use a DPNRM_DG block and when i try request obtain in status 8090 (invalid adress). Can you help me? Thanks Attachment gauge.zip (254 Downloads)

0_Einstein Grandmaster Joined: 7/7/2010 Last visit: 1/12/2026 Posts: 16358 Rating: (2522)	Not sure about the block, but anytime I see the input to a block for profibus/profinet, I press F1 and see what the block needs for that input (laddr). Since your profibus gsd shows green checkboxes, the gsd and the plc are communicating fine. That's a very nice thing to see! From the help file : HW_DP SLAVE (WORD) \| D, L or constant \| Configured diagnostic address of the DP slave. Note: Address must be specified in hexadecimal form, for example, diagnostic address 1022 means: LADDR:=W#16#3FE. The diagnostic address of the dp slave of type HW_DP to me does not mean the profibus address, or the documention should simply say "the profibus address". If you use the picklist for that block, scroll through to find your gauge devices or go to the plc tags, system constants, and drag/drop from that list.
