Clearing Orphaned Alarms in WinCC

SMatthews Posts: 65 Rating: (2)	I have some orphan alarms in my alarm log that I can not clear from the list. I click "ACK" but the alarm stays in the list where as other alarms are removed from the list. I turned off the MsgEn property, lowered limits, and removed the conditions that caused the alarm in the block to try to clear it that way but it stays in there. The code shows that the alarm is no longer active but the alarm list is stuck with this orphaned alarm I cannot interact with now. How do I get rid of it? I have redundant AS and OS. (v7.1 SP3)

First and easiest is to shutdown backup server, boot up and synch, then shutdown master so backup takes over,before other server is in Runtime, go to current master, then on alarm screen select autoscroll and then select the individual alarm and execute single acknowledge.
