masimn Posts: 48 Rating: (0)	Hi All I have a tablet into tablet (Small tablet in a large tablet) machine. There is a problem in its inner tablet detection system and i have to develop a system for it. if there is a empty tablet then a counter will start because turret is also having dies having good tablet. the value of the counter will be the total number of dies in between. Now i am unable to understand if there are simultaneus rejected tablet one by one how it will reject the tabletafter the first rejected tablet.?

masimn Posts: 48 Rating: (0)	Hi I want to make a tablet detection system that can detect die without tablet The sensor is located at the begining of the machine(at the feeding of the tablets) and the discharge chute is located at the end of the machine. If sensor detects the empty die then it must not immediately change the damper to rejection side because there are dies with tablet in the line. it has a counter(builtin) to count the number of dies after which the empty die is comming. Nowi am having problem how to make the sensor detectempty tablet if the die is comming one after one

masimn Posts: 48 Rating: (0)	Hi Yes the sensor is placed before the shutter( i.e. after the first tablet goes into the die and before the second tablet goes into die) and also counter counts the die. The problem i am facing in programming i.e. how to programm it and specially if there is mis tablet coming after one after another.

Single counter will not be able to handle a situation where two or more tablets are missing. Regards, Adam

Now die without tablet (fault) arrives at station one. Sensor does not see a tablet so it sets bit M10.0 (use edge detection to set the bit). Now machine rotates by one station. Use edge detection for each rotation start to shift byte MB10 left by count of 1. This way the set bit follows the faulty die. Activate reject cylinder when machine is stopped and M10.4 is set. Watch 1 move every second through MB10 and Q0.0 coming ON when 1 reaches M10.4. You can substitute SM0.5 by a sensor that detects start of die indexing and M9.0 by sensor that detects the block with edge detection (EU).
