Hello ryan cordova other than declaring the I/O area that you get from the S5 racks (which have an IM314) via the IM463-2, there's not too much to the setup and there's no "offcial" migration guide that I'm aware of either. There is though the followingFAQwhich also contains a link to the manual thathas the setup details described in it and which will hopefully help you: How do I link an S7-400 with S5 expansion units? |

Hello expert Now im doing s5 to s7 migration and i used the im463-2 with im314. To work this i already follow the manual "Entry ID1117740", and there is no fault from the cpu, from im463-3 and from the im314. But my problem now is i cannot access the i/o mudule in the s5 rack, even i configure the input adresses and output adresses of im463-2. How i can access the i/o in s5 rack? what should i do for this?.. their is any one can give me sample program? in order to me to understand properly this s5 to s7 migration using im463-2.. Thank you and god bless. Regards, Ryan Cordova
