eng.wael Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Dear All It's Honor to be here and ask you I have to be in a team that will make a start-up ESD system with S7-400FH but i find some difficult in finding some Manuals and answers in siemens site as its rather new to me i looked forS7-412FH CPUmanuals and Technical info. and realize the difference between S7-400H and S7-412FH and for : -ET-200Mand what is it's functionality and whats the difference between it and ET-200S or pro - MPI cable. - Synchronization Module for 1M - Synchronization cable - difference betweenProfibusandProfinet Thanks and regards

S7-400H means Fault Tollerent System & S7-400FH means Fail safe and Fault tollerent systems. Both S7-400H & S7-400FH are based on the same hardware. The differences is in the Fail safe copy license and way of programming. Difference Between S7-400H and S7-400FH ET-200M has a lot of differences with other families like ET200S. ET200M modules is larger than ET200S. So, ET-200S has advantage for those who need to save space. ET200S has ability to insert VSD, motor direct / reverse starter on the same rack. But for working with S7-400H you should use Y-Link. With ET-200M you can use Red-bundle. Finally, a lot of differences... We need to know what is the problem with you in details. Do you have problem in configuration or proramming? Hope this helps.
