PLC backup in 840D using only MPI

DPJ Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Dear All, I have 840D controller. I have to take PLC backup on my laptop, but I don't have 5512 card. Can any one tell me the procedure to take PLC backup using MPI cable in 840D?. I also want to check the PLC online also. Regards, DJ.

Mitchan Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello DPJ What is MLFB for your 840D? If you are using Powerline(6FC5357~), you must need CP5611 or PG but , Solutionline(6FC537x~) can be connecting with LAN cablefor Laptop. then , IP address masut be set Auto mode and connect to X127. Best regards

There is another method also to take PLC backup when you don't have 5512 card & have only MPI cable which is used normal S7-300 PLC. Yes In 840Dsl we can take PLC online using LAN cable. Regards, DJ.

Source of supply Connector X 121 on NCU Ground \|--------------------------------------------------------------------\| Pin 1 Ground \|--------------------------------------------------------------------\| Pin 2 +24V \|--------------------------------------------------------------------\| Pin 20 +24V \|--------------------------------------------------------------------\| Pin 21 Do it carefully.
