PWM regulation problem

Peter487 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello, I want to use PWM regulation to controll speed of motor which rotates dynamo, which makes value X. RPM of motor are regulated by transistor, which is switched by impulse controled with ratio of SMW70/SMW68 from PLC.Feedback is secured with loading of voltage value (X). If X < requested value i use INC SMW70. If X > requested value i use DEC SMW70. I can change requested value of X. I think that SMW70 should be stable or in every cycle +-1 SMW70, but currently it jumps from SMW70 = 0 to SMw70 = MAX. How can I make ratio SMW70/SMW68 smooth? I am using Simatic S7-200 CPU 222 + EM 235 (analog output is already used) and STEP 7 Micro/WIN SP9. Can be problem that change of ratio not manage to reflect on RPM of motor(so that it not relect on loaded value of X)? If yes, how can i solve it please?

Use the wizards, much easier. Or if you want to do it the hard way have a look at tip 07B in What are S7-200 Programming Tips and where can I obtain them? Regards, Marcjan
