How to access Status Word Bit of MM420 via Proficus

Pratosh Posts: 14 Rating: (0)	Dear All, pls give me the brief visual idea about how to select the bit r52.11, read parameter r52 (For Status word) of MM420 in Parameter 2051 for accessing data on Profibus Protocol. I am attaching the screen shot of Drive Address, SIMATIC DATA BLOCK ,and Parameter Number of Starter. My MM420 drive is communicating on Profibus protocol with PLC. Pls help me ASAP. I understood that you want to have a bit in your PLC that monitors the current limit To do that you have to adress the r0052 to you word. Give me more information and I will help you! Pratosh Posts: 14 Rating: (0)	DearGuilherme RossiSir, Actually i want to access the Bit Number r52.11 of Status Word's r52 into my S7-400 PLC program as a input signal for INTERLOCK . For that PERHAPS the parameter in drive P2051(for Profibus Control between PLC -Drive) is used in which the 1st index it means P2051[0] is Configured for Status Word r52 . One important thing is Communication between MM420 Drive and PLC is on PROFIBUS. So finally how could i get that r52.11 bit into my SIMATIC Step-7 program. if u have any Sample program which demostrate the STATUS Word Transfer from Drive to PLC and CONTROL Word Transfer from PLC to Drive then please send me.... Thanks in advance..

Guilherme Rossi Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	You have to select the word you used in hardware configuration and see the corresponding bit See the example I attached In you project I suspect that you chose the First Word as your status word So you are seeing the IW0 and in HEX, try to change it to DEC That means IW0 is bit 0 = r0052.0 bit 1 = r0052.1 bit 2 = r0052.2 bit 3 = r0052.3 bit 4 = r0052.4 bit 5 = r0052.5 bit 6 = r0052.6 bit 7 = r0052.7 IW1 bit 0 = r0052.8 bit 1 = r0052.9 bit 2 = r0052.10 bit 3 = r0052.11 bit 4 = r0052.12 bit 5 = r0052.13 bit 6 = r0052.14 bit 7 = r0052.15 Regards, Rossi Attachment FB to operate MM4 on Profibus DP.zip (221 Downloads)
