T400 error

yv@n Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have a card inserted in a Masterdrive T400, I have never worked with this as T400 and not knowing if operating properly. The T400 has three LEDs that are changed on - off for short periods, in yellow, green and red (each separately). if anyone can help me with a manual or if you need a download the program again. Thank you.

Thank you. Hi, Manuals can be foundHEREfor the different T400 cards. It is normal for the 3 LED's to flash. If you have a T400 card with custom written firmware (program), then you definately need the original program, because YOU ABSOLUTELY CANNOT upload the firmware. For example, if you replaced a custom T400 or wanted to download the firmware again (Using the DUST1 protocol) What you can do however, is upload the parameters for both the drive and the T400 card. These ARE ACCESSED on the CU card of the drive. //Edit If you had say an "Axial Winder" T400 card, then it would be relatively easy to replace the T400 card (like for like). All you would need to do is to download the parameters again. Be careful and read well !! Regards, Graeme

yv@n Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	thanks for your reply ........ after installing Drive Monitor software and access to the programs, we note that parameter P060 = 8, do not know how it could happen this event, which is installed on board lost power MASTERDRIVE for three days, I think it is not the cause of the change of the parameter value. my question is how can modify the panel P060 without the OP and software Drive monitor? Drive Monitor software allows me to see a diagnostic file from last made loads of programs, similar to running the STEP 7

Did you do this? When P060 = 8, then you need to set P070 to the correct value (Match up the drive part number with the parameter). The easiest way to do this is to look in the offline Drivemonitor file in parameter P070 and you will see a table of part numbers i.e. 6se70 xx-xxxx. Regards, Graeme
