I finally got my hands on an S7-1500 and managed to personally verify if the rumours about the “secret” inbuilt game are true!
Well, guess what, they are and here’s what you have to do to access it:

Prerequisite: You must have the LCD display connected to the CPU
1.) Power off the S7-1500 CPU
2.) Press and hold down all 4 cursor keys and the “OK” key of the display and switch on power to CPU
3.) Keep all keys pressed for another 5 seconds
4.) The display will now change into the secret game mode.

And here’s the coolest part:
The game the Siemens developers so neatly added as an undocumented feature is very similar to Angry Birds (google Angry birds in case you haven’t heard about it before).
Presumably in order to avoid any copyright issues or royalty payments, the S7-1500 version has some rather funny differences though:
For one, it uses S7 PLC’s instead of birds (200’s, 300’s, 400’s, 400H's and 1500’s are all present).
The really funny thing is though that you now shoot these S7 PLC’s at targets that are represented by the octagonal shaped Allen-Bradley logo (instead of pigs as in Angry birds)!

Anyhow, control is simply via the cursor keys.
Use up/downto adjust the angle of the slingshot, left/right for the slingshot strength and the OK key to shoot and watch the A/B logo going up in a puff of smoke….( Who says German’s don’t have a sense of humour, hey?).

sorry, I can't, but will try to come up with a better story on next years April Fools' Day (and hope that Siemens will implement the"angry S7's" game into the 1500's by then, would be pretty cool to have, wouldn't it?).
