password problem

Abo Malak Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	i have a cpu s7 314 , i have 2 passwords , the 1st is operator level and the 2nd is administrator level the problem with the 2nd password , when i enter the user name and password , nothing happen no changes , no message apear as if i was entered wrong password ,so i can't log in to make any changes what this problem is ?how can i solve this problem ?

Hello, You are talking about HMI addminstration. If your HMI is Siemens, so you need a user name and password for each defined adminstration level. You may exceeded the number of attempts of entering user name and password correcty or may be your pasword expired. Two settings developer may use to highly protect HMI from un-authorized access. Password permissable wrong attempts and password aging. In the following links more details. Why can you no longer log on to the operator panel (or WinCC flexible Runtime)? Abo Malak Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello Ste39 Yes i have HMI siemens and this problem with the HMI administration level but what happen was that , i was have aproblem with an i/p not coming so i said may be if reset the cpu the problem will gone , nothing change then i switch off the cpu power supply and switch on it back , i try the user name and password and they were rhght and working but iwent and then cameback to edit something ,try to enter the password , i found that no response and no message appear to tell me that i entered wrong password or user name that is all
