Ethernet Connection between PC and HMI

v3nom Advanced Member Joined: 11/25/2009 Last visit: 12/9/2025 Posts: 33 Rating: (0)	I have MP277 10" and Tp177B....both HMIs have ethernet interface on it. ..in my case the plc is comunicating with HMI using MPI interface and my client want an ethernet connectivity between his PC and HMI, his demand is to connect to HMI through IP addressing....as far as i understand from his wishlist he want to have the ip of hmi and whenever he want to connect it to the PC he just type the ip address and after that HMI is running on the PC. My question is that can it be possible to have a connection like that ?? or do i need any additional hardware for it.?? Please reply at earliset. Regards.
