Dear Experts,

I would like to know if it is possible to log string variables with WinCC Professionnal V12.

I would like to register the name of the recipe used at the beginning of the shift or when the recipe is changed during the day.
Also, I would like to log comments from the operator during production

If the Panel supports scripting you can create your ownCSV file to log the data from string tags.

Also, you can embed tag values in Alarm Messages - then just log the string tags as alarm messages.
