input , output choke

edison65 Posts: 28 Rating: (0)	hi i have a mm420 , mm430. i want to use commutating chokeand out put choke.distance between drive to motor is 200 m but distance between command(plc) to drive is 500 m . i must use output choke but i know if distances effect on commutating choke? please help me.

Normally you should only worry about power cables As you said, distance between Drive to motor is 200m, you can definitely use Output choke Check attachment for choke selection As far as, input s concerned, I want to know how command will be give to drive? by Profibus? or by hardwire? It is related to Input power from MCC to your VFD and reduces the distortion on input current waverform there by on input voltage waveform. Regards, Vijay
