tripping of outputs of simatic s5-115u ......plz help

cheema5114 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	the digital output of the simatic s5-115u get offed........and indicate the STOP LED flashing ........QVZ ZYK,BASP LED also on at that time......................when we reset the whole system some time worked some time when do more than 3-4hrs to reset and start system again.....some time tripped 3-4 time a day and some time work fluently more than month with out any interption.............plz help

Navnag Sorry navnag, but what you telling here is .. (XXXX) .... ... is not OK. The Step5Equipment will work under normal and harder environment conditions at least for 20 years and more. Under very hard conditions (chemical atmosphere, very high humidity e.s.o.) problems may appear. But that is not "normal" in that case. It is OK to say, an update to S7 makes sense. But it is incorrectly to say that defects are "normal". Please try harder next time.

Try to clean / repair / replace the board. May be you should consider to do an Update to Step7.
