First of all, sorry for my english I cant compile my project due to some strange error: I created a structure called DIGITAL just like at the PLC (this tag contains the A, B, C, D tags). This DIGITAL structure is located at the 2076th DB. I also created a folder tag called Multiplex_DIGITAL and this folder contains some important tags like Index_DIGITAL (Int) and the DIGITAL tag of the DIGITAL type. I addressed the DIGITAL tag like I always do: %DB2076.DBX[Index_DIGITAL].0 I have 2 faceplates DIGITAL: the firte one stay always in the screen and calls a DIGITAL PopUp; These 2 faceplates have properties that are linked with DIGITAL structure tags. When I try to compile the project I have an error message: "The address for tag 'DIGITAL.A.' is invalid." "The address for tag 'DIGITAL.B.' is invalid." "The address for tag 'DIGITAL.C.' is invalid." "The address for tag 'DIGITAL.D.' is invalid." I notice that when I exclude de link at the popup for example for A, the A error disappear. What am I doing wrong? Or is this a software bug?

Bofely Posts: 123 Rating: (5)	With WinCC flexible it is not possible to multiplex structure tags. https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll?func=cslib.csinfo&objId=24171756&nodeid0=24359292&load=treecontent&lang=en This is probably also true for WinCC (Advanced) in TIA Portal If you really want to use multiplexing with stucture tags, then do it in the controller.

notausp Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	Thanks for all atention, but I solved the problem. It was a software bug. IT IS POSSIBLE TO TAG MULTIPLEX WITH STRUCTURE, exactly as I described. After many things, I deleted my Multiplex_DIGITAL folder and create a new one; Relinked all faceplates; Problem solved. Thanks hdhosseini and Bofely.

notausp Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	I was wrong, sorry. I'd made a mistake: I had forgotten to index the tags adresses...after many days trying, I called to the Siemens support and I was informed that the tag multiplexing is still a software limitation, even in TIA Portal V11.
