Inserting a SCL code in LAD or STL block

Dear marciel, The easiest solution I can suggest is: Writing your SCL codes in a function ,save and compile codes and just to call that function in LAD/STL/FBD editor which is representative of that part of codes. This is good if you are not good in SCL but Know LAD or STL very good.You can simply implement complex formulations easily in SCL and use the results in LAD! Dearmarciel, Let's think a bit more about the limits which constrain our wishes while working with industrail software.When you are working in LAD/STL/FBD editor, you are limited to use components of those programs.For SCL programming we are using SCL editor.You can not copy "SCL" codes in an STL editor because the STL compiler generate errors as it is totally logical. There are bridges to exchange data between codes written in different languages.Using function written in different language (e.g SCL) in a diffrent editor(e.g LAD) editor is one of those bridge. Copy the resultof an operation in a global data and read them in other part of program. There are some other ways such as compiling the SCL codes to STL and simply add to your prongram in LAD/STL/FBD which is not logical! Best regards, Hamid Hosseini

Somewhere I read that I need to create a new library and from there to insert scl code into lad ob. But the problem is that scl has only source file and thus can not be inserted ino lad...So if you can just explain me how to insert scl function step by step. Tnx, Ksenija
