Hi,

I am a novice with PLC programming and HMI setup and in need of some guidance with HMI recipe data storage.

We have 5 identical systems ont he shopfloor each with a large recipe file , however every time we update one of the recipes i have to manually export and import to the other 4 production lines. Not ideal but it worked. Now our recipe file is too large and i am getting the error;

Data medium is full.

So my questions are ;

1. How do I change where the HMI looks for the recipe - can this only be done in the project via WINcc ?
2. Would it be possible to have one livefile across all lines i.e a networked folder. We have all the ifrustructure in place and all panels and lines are available over the network. This will save having to update each line?
3. Any other better way of managing these recipe files?

You can store the Recipes on a local network. how do you integrate an HMI operator panel into a local network? Then all panels can look at the same directory (file) Best regards, Wizard
