CoreyB Posts: 17 Rating: (1)	Hello All, I was wondering if there is a way to switch from English to german for just the bits we use? We get most of our updates from Germany, and all the timers are in German. So I need a way to make it easy for our guys to make these updates. Like we will get an update to use an S_AVERZ timer. All our stuff is in English. Looking for a way to make the guys know that an S_AVERZ is S_OFFDT timer. Any suggestions besides making a chart? Thanks

You can find it in Simatic Manager -> Preferences... And for an English interface of program that should be ,in SIMATIC Manager select Options-->Customize-->Language as shown in the aatchment. And if it did not worked, may be because you did not selected German language during installation. I am sorry if I am not sure. Hope this helps.

See here Hello, Besides what has been mentioned by Ayman, I guess the reason may be simpler point.When you select the interface langauge to English, you have access to English list of instructions in "program elements".This time try to insert an element to a network, now you can see the German equivalents and you also should use German notation(see the 1st figure in the attachmnet).That is possible to check all your work again in English. But what I am wanting is the tree to also be in German. Otherwise the guys have to add the timer. If it isn't correct, then delete the timer. Grab the next one. Add it to the network. If it isn't correct, grab the next timer. Etc. I really want the tree to be in German.

Hello, The available options are: interface----->Mnemonics German ------>German (*) German ------>English English ------>German English ------>English I suggest the first as marked by a star.If not satisfactory, try the others.
