which safety system you prefer?

HSCD Posts: 49 Rating: (0)	Hi every body There is a high voltage synchronous and switching system SIL3 with a few signals( 18 DI, 9 DO, 3 AI). I thought a F-PLC is very over design. my choice is safety relays. specifically programable SIRIUS 3RK3. but what can i do with AI signals? which safety system you prefer?

Piotr.M Platinum Member Joined: 6/24/2013 Last visit: 11/14/2025 Posts: 1696 Rating: (433)	Do You need fail-safe AI signals? if not a cheap and good solution for safety part is a Wieland safety PLC called SAMOS PRO. it has Profibus gateway which gives 50bytes in/out which is enough for a big systems. Cost is not miles awy from standard S7 parts and safety plc has small footprint. moreover, programming software for it is free of charge as well! hope this helps.

Are these analog values failsafe values? If not, you can also use a ET 200 S F-PLC (6ES7151-8FB01-0AB0ET200S, IM151-8F PN/DP CPU, 256 KB) -> small PLC, if you need in the central rackwith input, outputand analog modules Regards !
