girish bodhale Posts: 51 Rating: (1)	hi Forum I have cpu-224 plc and want to connect "4" incremental encoder's to it, for the same i have attached the datasheet of t encoder. please tell how do i use these encoders to count the pulses, how to make the connections of encoder with the cpu, will i require some extra hardware to connect all the 4 encoders. Please give any manual or such, so that ill read and configure it. Sorry lots of questions i asked?? i wana use these encoders for packaging machine project. I suggest the S7-200 system manual chapter 6 Highspeed counters part for more information. Regards, Marcjan

girish bodhale Posts: 51 Rating: (1)	Thanks for the reply, If u see in the encoder manual the "Max. response frequency" is 50kHz and that of CPU-224 counting frequency is 20kHz for two-phase will this make any difference in accuracy. What if i have to use the encoder in A & B phase mode will i get seperate signals from both the phases.
