ET-200s communication with Yokogawa CS-3000 DCS.

RKM Posts: 93 Rating: (13)	Dear all, Presently I am facing a problem while communicatingYokogawa CS-3000 DCS with Siemens ET-200S (6ES7151-1AA05-0AB0) remote rack over Profibus. Our intention is to communicate entire remote rack to Yokogava DCS as DP-slave and controlling of the same rack through the yokogawa DCS. Please provide us the neccessary hints. Thanks in advance.

Eastern Posts: 557 Rating: (64)	Hello, Where did you find this communcation. if this is possible. You have to install gsd file in Yokogawa controller on profibus. From siemens side you are using passive device so there is nothing much from siemens side.

dchartier Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 9/27/2006 Last visit: 1/16/2026 Posts: 12481 Rating: (2722)	Hello RKM; As our friend Eastern proposes, you would have to integrate the ET 200S gsd file in the Yogogawa profibus configuration software (I believe they use Sycon), after which you can select the IM 151-x as a Profibus slave. You then attach the requisite number of IO modules of the ET 200S as per your actual configuration, and set the addresses that will serve to interface with the Yokogawa master. Please refer to the documentation for the Yokogawa Profibus configurator for details on the procedure. You can find the ET 200S gsd files in ths Dowload page from Siemens Support: PROFIBUS GSD files : ET 200S Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier
