MicroMaster 440 Fault Stuck

Mark14422 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	I have a MM440 that has the fault code F0001 (Over Current). I have powered the unit off / on and the fault still exsits. It also will not clear when using the STARTER application. Any tips on where to try next?

Ste39 Posts: 4620 Rating: (710)	Mark14422, Fault F0001 canappear due to dust and carbon inside the inverter. Have you tried to cleanthe drive completely?Can sometime solve the problem. Sometimebreaks ribbon connection between two boards, this could also be. Hope this help

In addition, see the Online Help, or take a Guided Tour. I ALWAYS use the search function first, invariably, some other poor soul somewhere will have had grief with the same piece of kit or software. Anyhoo down to the nitty gritty in brief: 1/. Is this a new commission - Is the motor data entered correctly (including multi-motor applications) 2/. Is there a mechanical overload? 3/. Try running open loop i.e. with no motor (Does the fault clear?) 4/. I have seen on a number of occassions that either the Interface board can cause it, or the control board may require reseating (This lives underneath the Interface board.) 5/. Mark14422 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Power had been off all night. I cleaned the unit and it worked. I had to step away and when I got back it was the same. I've disconnected the motor leads and I still cant clear the alarm.
