LINK-UP aborted due to active test and startup or object management function

projjwal Posts: 46 Rating: (0)	Dear All, I have a problem in one installation where there is one H station having CPU 414-4H firmware 4.5.3. This system is in operation quite a long time. Now, after making necessary changes we carried out an entire download putting the whole station in stop mode, Rack0 CPU has gone in run mode as master but we are not being able to put rack1 CPU in even run mode. Diadnostic buffer reads following message which seems most relevent to us towards solving the problem - LINK-UP aborted due to active test and startup or object management function We tried memory reset of rack1 CPU with battery taken out & recycled the power keeping switch on CPU in stop mode & after booting was over, we put the switch back in RUN mode, but it never really went into run mode A quick solution will be appreciated Regards Projjwal

Madhava Silver Member Joined: 11/26/2011 Last visit: 4/11/2025 Posts: 508 Rating: (23)	While putting it into Run Mode, Ensure you are not monitoring anything online (HW, Vat, Block etc.,). Wait till it went to Run Mode.

projjwal Posts: 46 Rating: (0)	Dear Madhava, Thanks you for your answer. we got it solved actually no VAT table was open in any ES that why it lead to confusion. We restarted all the abvailable ES & put switch to run mode in reverse CPU & everything became ok Thanks Agaain Regards Projjwal Ghosh
