First of all, calling that there is a "big flaw" in pcs7 is not something the people here will take grant for it. Clearly you don't know how the system works and I suggest reading the manual first... http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/1186523 There is a difference in using RAM memory cards and FLASH cards..I think you have FLASH card as you need to stop one CPU->set to stop and then download. By using RAM card (not permantly stored user program) you can download changes. Please check the manual, also use the search function. I believe there are already some threads about this manner. |

Hello Oreca First of all, I thing you are confusing S7-400H with PCS7-H systems. As far as I know, FLASH cards are not released for PCS7-H systems ( Only for S7-400H ). I cannot find any FEPROM cards in PCS7 catalog except for Firmware download. Secondly we have also come across situations where complete download to a PCS7-H system cannot be averted and causes both the CPUs to come to STOP, which certainly is a serious anamoly ( This is not the case with S7-400H ). There are some previous discussionson this topic which guide on how to avoid / side-stepthis situation. Pl Check Out : Is it Possible to avoid a full download to AS But that isjust what that you can really do . "Avoid or Side-step" the issues causing this. There is no Real Solution. Eventually you must perform a full download ( e.g. if you change Block interfaces ). Hope this Helps Cheers Navnag |
