Or do I have to change authorization level of the button on all @PG_xxx_Overview.PDL pictures? (PCS7 v7.1+SP2)

cabreytj Silver Member Joined: 5/18/2006 Last visit: 10/21/2020 Posts: 170 Rating: (66)	PCS 7 V8.0 has addressed this by adding a local internal PCS 7 OS/WinCC Tag, @LockMessageAuthLevel, where the authorization level for locking/unlocking alarms can be defined (APL Authorization Level 1 to 5, where level 1 equates to Process Controlling, level 2 equates to Higher Process Controlling, level 3 equates to Highest Process Controlling and level 4 and 5 are new authorizations forusers use). cabreytj

SayanR Member Joined: 9/3/2010 Last visit: 8/27/2025 Posts: 2 Rating: (1)	I tried to change value of Tag; @LockMessageAuthLevel from 1 to 4 (default is 5), it alwaysunable to click the buttoneven I set user autherization to any level, means only @LockMessageAuthLevel equal to 5 then message Lock/unlock button be able to use without consideration of User Administrator setting (any user level can click). Please advise, any other place should be set?

For example: the number 5 is authorization 'Process controlling' in User Administrator. number 6 is 'Higher process controlling', and so on... Regards jumo
