Mansur Ahmed Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Suppose there is 4 compartment or container.temperature of container depend on each other. There is a certain limit of temperature. When it passage the certain limit of temparature, a alarm will active. In the mean time the temperature will compare with other container temperature and finally when passage the certain temperature limit the alarm will ring. Anyone please help me to give me sample program to develop the original program.

Mansur Ahmed Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Hi, Thanks for your quick reply. Ok i am trying one more time to explain the problem. There are 20 gas chamber in a system. Every chamber has a temperature sensor with the PLC analog Input. So my query is, 1) Is there any procedure to find out the maximum and minimum temperature between the chamber. 2) And also i have to ensure that if different between any of two chambers temperature is goes greater than 50 degree Celcious then there will be a alarm active. So in that case, how can i compare that 20 chambers temperature with each other shortly. Thanks again and waitting for your valuable comment.

Rudrani Posts: 163 Rating: (4)	Hi, which CPU you have? If you are using CPU other than s7 200 then you canuse pointers for this. 1. Create an array of 20 elements and store all the temperature values in that. (eg arrar A[0..20]) 2. Take two pointers as "i" and "j". 3. Initially, i=0 and j=i+1 it means "i" will point to first element of array ie A[i]= A[0] & "j" will point to second element of array ie A[j]= A[1] 4. take A[i] & A[j] 5. carray out substraction A[i]-A[j], take absolute of the difference 6. compare if difference is greater than 50 then generarte an alarm 7. increment value of j as j=j+1 Repeate step 5, 6 & 7 until j<20 8. if j=20 then increment i as i=i+1 and make j=0 and again got to step no 4 and execute the loop until i<20. its similar to the algorithm of bubble sorting.
