I'm using faceplates in TIA V12 for my projects as follows:

1 I created a PLC data type for example Motor_PLC wich I use in my DB's
2 I made a HMI data type (Motor_HMI)wich contains the same entry's as the PLC data type
3 I created a HMI tag that has data type Motor_HMI and points to the adress of the PLC data type in the DB wich contains a motor.

Is it possible to connect directly t a DB data type? Because if i change something in the DB then the tag in the HMI points to the wrong adress.
