Andy Hello, Although I did not tested this code and I can not gurantee, but let me explain it for you. The value "12.71" given by Thijs in his code is an assumption value. You should calculate this value for your application every time you write a code to calculte speed from FM350 module. 12.71 here is number of pulses produced from the incremental encoder to make a movement of 1 mm. Hope this helps.

MHasan Posts: 63 Rating: (4)	I never used FM350 but i have used encoders for reading speed and frequency values in other brand of PLCs. There must be built in function for frequency of pulses please check, in that case you wont need to program PLC just have to utilize the option.
