amateur Posts: 145 Rating: (3)	Hi to all, We are trying 2 days know to solve an odd problem. The customer's project is in WinCC V5.0 SP2 and the OS is WIndows NT. The PC is too old, so we ordered a new pc. Here in the office we started to set the new pc. According to the "compatibility list", WinCC V5.0 SP2 is compatible with Windows 2000 SP1. When we opened the project and changed the computer name, an HResult Error message appeared : 0x80004005 : unspecified error. After that we tried to open again the project and although the computer name was the correct, it appeared the familiar message that the server is not available. We thought that something wrong was with project, so we tried to create a new one. When we tried to create a new picture, we received a message that we cannot create a new picture. The Alarm Logging Editor and the Global Script editor never opened and the Tag Logging editor opened with problems. We thought that something wrong might have been with the installation, so we installed again the OS and the WinCC. Unfortunately, we received exactly the same errors. We downloaded the WinCC installation via a FTP-server the technical support has given us. Is there any idea, what could be wrong? Thanks in advance for your time
