I have not been able to find a current GSD file for the CBP2 to do Profibus communications with my non-Siemens PLC. None of the GSDs to be found on the Siemens site include configurations for Standard telegrams 3-6. I need to use Standard Telegram 5 with an extension, and while I have come up with a valid configuration ID for the base telegram 5 based on some educated guessing, there are some communication issues (see my other post about partial telegrams), and I have no idea how to get the asymmetric extension working after that.

The Masterdrive compendium both references the file I can't find, and the fact that asymmetric telegrams should be possible:

"The CBP2 V2.20 supports PROFIdrive version 3. The device master

file (GSD) is stored as an ASCII file (SIEc8045.GSD) on the CD

supplied with the CBP.

The GSD allows you to configure standard telegrams 1 to 6. It has been

generated according to revision 4 for PROFIBUS DP-V2. "

"Up to 16 process data words can be configured, even with a different

number of setpoints and actual values. The consistency ranges can be

flexibly adjusted. "

I have found that ID bytes of "00F8" are valid for standard telegram 5, but while this seems to almost work (drive to PLC good, PLC to drive is not, no errors), I think it might be the source of my problems.

Does anyone have access to the GSD with configurations for standard telegrams, or can at least provide some information like the attached table, but for standard (non-PPO) telegrams?
