water pulse to water flowrate

Andy Moods Posts: 33 Rating: (0)	Hi All i am wondering what is the best approach to use to convert a water pulse to a water flowrate. it is not high speed like encoder. this pulse comes through every so often and I would need to convert it to m3/ hr. the pulse probably represents 1L in terms of volume. Any ideas?

Kelu Posts: 88 Rating: (12)	Hello, you can first use a positive signal edge of your pulse signal to add it in a int counter. After each 1s (use CPU clock pulse), copy your counter in a other value and reset your counter. Then you have a value in L/s and you can convert it in m3/hr. Is it what you expect? Best regards,
