S7 200 Datalogging time interval (high resolution)

mopi Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi, im currently working on S7 200 Datalogging project. One of my project requirement is, in 1 second i need to produce 100 data points. When i uploaded the data to excel form, i can only see 53 datapoints per second. How can i increase it to atleast 100 datapoints per second.

Your memory card will last not longer then a year. If you need that mutch data records, better think of logging on a PC direct. Regards, Marcjan

For the meantime i will just stick on this method (capturing data using memory cartridge). But for long term solution, i need to follow your advice. 1 sec = 100datapoints 30seconds X 100 datapoints Any advice onhow i can increase the resolution per seconds to 100data points.. Time Sensor 10:10:01 On 10:10:01 Off 10:10:01 Off 10:10:01 On 10:10:01 On so on and so fort..... thanks....

One option would be to only register changes in the value. Another option is to count the transitions from one state to another and record those. For bits you could also shift a result into a BYTE and write this byte as a datapoint. It is really up to the application what you want to achieve. I hope this helps a little. w
