Subnet requirement when transferring a HMI program ?

JohnnyBoy22 Posts: 19 Rating: (1)	Does my laptop need to be connected to the same subnet as the HMI in order to transfer a HMI program? I have a TP2200 and I only want to use PROINET interface X1. When I am connected to the same subnet I can see the HMI fine when I "Download to device". The device does not appear when I switch to wireless (our wireless network is on a different subnet). Also, I've never fully understood all the nuances of transferring from my TIA v13 WinCC to a TP2200 I am working with .... if someone has a good document please let me know!
