master RESET in S7 - 315

arvi Regular Member Joined: 1/6/2011 Last visit: 5/12/2025 Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hi fnds I wanna do master reset on my 315 - 2DP....i have inserted an memory card on my PLC...i tried plc >> diagnostics/settings >> Clear/reset ... bt i could not clear the program on d memory card...hw 2 reset my memory card...den after reseting hw to load the program again into memory card.... Saravana kumar Platinum Member Joined: 2/6/2009 Last visit: 1/6/2026 Posts: 940 Rating: (119)	Hi, For complete removal of blocks and hardware configuration from the MMC use the below method, Open Simatic manager and go online with the CPU(View menu => online) => Expand the blocks folderin the online windows, there you will be allowed to see all the online blocks and this blocks won't get deleted via Clear/Reset wizard. Select all the blocks in the online windows (right hand side) and press delete. The above procedure will delete the all the user blocks and hardware configuration info from the MMC card.
