changing p0015

qayyum faiz Experienced Member Joined: 7/30/2012 Last visit: 1/16/2025 Posts: 127 Rating: (0)	Dear All, i am trying to change the parameter p0015 of the sinamics drive G120C PN using the BOP previously it was configured as '0' but now i cannot see '0' in the list the minimum option that i can see is '1' i donot want to reset all the parameter to factory deafult. please help me out on how can i change it back to '0'..... The parameter P0015 is not affected by a factory reset and will remain like it was. The factory setting of P0015 for G120C is 7 for the PN variant. 7 means changeover setting between fieldbus setpoint and jog mode with fieldbus setpoint for DI3 = 0. If you want to restore the factory setting try to set P0010 to 1 for quick commissioning and then P0015 to 7.

Restoring factory settings does not reset P0015. 2. P0015 = 0 during commissioning means that you do not want to change the value of P0015. 3.The G120C PN has P0015=7 as factory setting. If you select P0015=0 the connections like DIs or DOs remain like in P0015=7. As I said, if you set P0010 = 1, then P0015 = 0 and then P0010 = 0 again. P0015 should be equal zero. Try this via BOP-2 / IOP or expert list in STARTER. This leads me to the actual question: why do you want to set P0015 to 0? Tryingto do so, makes no sense to me. What do you wish to achieve by that?
