And I have a simple problem which is the simulation on PLCSIM doesn't happen when I add many of the same FBs in OB1 as you can see on the picture herewith, while it does when I only add one FB in OB1. Are you sure, that all your blocks (escpecially the instance-DBs) are loaded to your Plc(Sim)? I the problem still persists, please give us some more details about the behaviour (error-codes, diagnostic-buffer, ...) Best regards, yy1

Did you ask Step7 to view the online status inside the FB? ..or did you evaluate the result that is from outside (example Q0.0 vs Q0.2)? With a multi-instance FB, the online view of that FB produces the online status of first (?) call. All other calls to the FB does not show up on online status views. That fact is regardless of using a simulator or actual PLC. .. my best guess is that that is the problem. This make it very difficult to fault-find amulti-instance code block. But you can swap the blocks so that the one you wish to view is called first (?). Or check the result of the coding to see if there is a change. If that solves the question.. good. If not - then we need to have a look of what goes on inside the FB to make sure that no strange things ar going on there.. like calling M-flags. Helpful? w
